Florilegio is born from a reinterpretation of menswear tailoring: archival suits, jackets and trousers become the starting point for new constructions, through interventions that transform their details, proportions and language.
In this grey tailored suit, the rigour of menswear construction meets a rich, deliberately irregular composition.
A composition of floral brooches crafted from fabrics, lace, tulle, trims and materials left unused from previous creations extends from the shoulder along the lapel. Red, black and gold mingle with different patterns and textures, while archival buttons, individually selected and all different, become small decorative elements within the composition, completing its design.
At the back, the two deep side vents are edged with silver-toned decorative trim, tracing their outline and adding an unexpected touch of light.
The matching trousers have a relaxed silhouette that tapers towards the hem, with turned-up cuffs and an adjustable waistband that allows the fit to be adapted.
A suit that retains the strength of its original tailoring while allowing decoration, colour and texture to radically transform its character.
