Archive trench coat in beige gabardine, with an oversized fit and raglan sleeves, reinterpreted through interventions that alter its construction, volumes, and proportions.
The garment has been cut and reconstructed, with a wide panel of semi-sheer black tulle inserted at the front and finished along the upper edge with green sequin trim. Additional sequin trims run along the belt and accent one of the pockets, creating touches of color and light that contrast with the gabardine.
The most significant transformation is at the back, which has been completely redesigned: the central section has been opened to reveal the checked inner lining, framed with green sequins. An intervention that profoundly alters the original construction and creates a play of openings and overlapping layers.
Two side openings allow the belt to be worn in different ways: it can be passed through the inside and worn only at the front, leaving the back free, or pulled out through the openings and worn around the entire garment. It can also be removed completely, allowing the trench coat’s oversized silhouette to fall freely.
The original buttons have been replaced with different buttons, individually selected as decorative elements. The raglan sleeves feature gathering at the lower section, emphasizing their volume.
A unique piece built around the contrast between the structure of the trench coat, the transparency of the tulle, and the reflections of the sequins, with a silhouette that changes depending on how it is worn.
